Sunshine Bakery

Sunrise Bakery has been part of the Ōpaheke community for almost 12 years, baking fresh, honest food from our shop on Opaheke Road every day we're open. Locals keep coming back for the bacon and egg pie, the mince and cheese and steak and pepper pies, sausage rolls, cream and chocolate donuts, and freshly baked bread - alongside sandwiches, filled rolls, cakes, slices, and a genuinely good coffee. We're a small, family-run bakery, and it shows: real service from people who know their regulars by name. Whether it's a quick lunch, a treat for the kids, or your morning coffee on the way through, we aim to make every visit feel like the neighbourhood bakery it's meant to be.
